Senior Public Health Analyst - Nottingham - Fixed Term for 12 Monthsx2 Vacancies £40,000 - £45,000Remote basisThe Opportunity:You will work as a wider team providing data analysis within Epidemiology.We now have a fixed-term (12 months) vacancy for a Senior Public Health Intelligence Analyst to manage the Public Health Intelligence Team, we also have another fixed term contract for an Analyst to work as part of this team.We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, educated to postgraduate degree level, with experience of using health-related data and information systems.Experienced in statistical and epidemiological methodologies, you will lead, support, promote and develop the evidence base for public health activity across the this public sector organisationand its partner organisations. The post-holders work will involve management of a team of public health intelligence analysts, analysis of a range of data to support the development of health needs assessment, identification of health inequalities and priorities for action. As part of a team, you will be involved in the dissemination and explanation of the analysis, turning it into meaningful timely health intelligence to improve services and outcomes.We are looking for a highly performing and enthusiastic individual to join the team. You will be able to build effective relationships with colleagues and partners, be highly numerate with data analysis, report writing, and project support skills, and have a sound knowledge of Excel and other packages.
