Job IntroductionEveryone’s Turning Point is unique. It’s the moment when they realise they’ve made a small, but important, step forward. Very often, that small step is the start of something bigger. We aim to support individuals to continue their journey of recovery in a community setting.Role ResponsibilityJoin our friendly team who raise the bar for person–centred support. We provide a range of recovery focused support through key working sessions, activities, one to one sessions and group work. Empowering people to make positive life choices and decisions, your compassionate andnon-judgemental approach will guide individuals on their recovery journey. As a Project Worker you will be responsible for your own caseload, formulating person-centred care and support plans, undertaking risk assessments, administering medicine, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, attending CPA’s and tribunals. In arole where no two days are ever the same you will need to think on your feet, adapt well to change and tailor support to each individual, as no two people are the same. Ultimately, you’ll play a vital role in helping people to gain skills and coping strategies, all while encouraging positive change and independence. You will be required to work 37 hours per week, in a shift pattern including sleep-ins and weekends. You have one weekend on and one weekend off, rotas are completed at least two months in advance and there is always room for flexibility, providing the needsof the service are met.The Ideal CandidateYou’ll need previous relevant experience of using a person-centred approach in a mental health setting and a good understanding of the complex needs of individuals we support.
