PROJECT MANAGER NOTTINGHAMCirca £45,000 - £50,000 + Company Car + Pension + Healthcare Our client, a market leading company in automated materials handling within the plastic industry is currently recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic project manager. With high levels of investment, most notably in the Packaging and Manufacturing sectors, the company is currently experiencing a period of rapid expansion. You will lead a project team overseeing a variety of projects, from concept through design and into production, ensuring efficient timing of the project and in line with budgetary and quality requirements.Role Description:*Chair handover meeting form Technical team to Projects dept. Identify key actions and clearly delegate with time scales.*Maintain scope of work and document variations so costs are managed effectively *Plan projects using MS project and monitor progress weekly.*Maintain constant communication with technical sales engineer, technical team and customer to manage expectations, issues and continues improvements.*Effectively manage multiple customer projects, project tasks, resources and equipment lead-times.*Must be direct in approach, clear in communication and naturally seek to improve internal systems and processes to achieve maximum productivity.Skills and Qualifications:*Project Management experience within engineering (essential)*HNC in Electrical/Mechanical Qualification in Engineering *Experience of the Plastics/FMCG/Pharmaceutical/Automation Background *Experience of budget Management *Enthusiastic team leader*Strong motivational skills*Ability to meet strict deadlines*Prepared to travel*UK driving License Project management. *Ability to manage a number of projects at any one time for 5k to 800k *Basic understanding of electrical controls.*Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic circuits. *Microsoft Project*Direct and clear in approach to achieve exacting results from colleagues, installation teams, contractors and customers.*Desire to support/help improvement and productivity within the business and dept.*Able to get the best out of resource/colleges while part of tight knit teamCompany Profile*Growing company with great progression opportunities*£Multi-million turnover industry leader*Experiencing a period of exciting growth In return for your commitment my client offers a stable and secure career for technically motivated engineers.
