Job Description

Project Manager – Nottingham – £40,000 - £45,000Chase & Holland are delighted to be supporting an established I.T. company based in Nottingham, offering a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join a leading global innovator in their sector who are going through a period of substantial growth. They’repassionate about delivering first class IT service on behalf of their partners. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for day-to-day progress of all projects and transition projects working with the project owner. This is a fantastic opportunityfor an experience Project Manager who has knowledge of ITIL principles and has experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a project.In Return You’ll Receive:

Project Manager Responsibilities:
  • Utilising existing PMO documentation and reporting templates. The successful candidate will be encouraged to improve these templates, in line with the company strategy and operating model
  • Managing internal and external customer projects when required
  • Comprehensive and detailed project reporting
  • Managing, compiling, and delivering project related financial and KPI information
  • Overseeing project costs and ensure finances are well managed. Identify, share, and discuss recommendations and remedial actions as required to help maintain budgets
  • Providing and maintaining a capacity planning and resource tracking service across projects
  • Ensuring cross-project dependencies are managed and the dependency log is accurately maintained
  • Coordinating project closure to distil good practice and ensure lessons learned are logged
  • Ensuring efficient change control methods and process are utilised
  • Work closely with relevant departments to inform them of new projects and potential impacts on their teams
  • Work with project teams to identify and implement project remedial steps and actions
  • Work closely with the Partner Manager and Partner providers to ensure project quality and customer satisfaction achieve appropriate levels
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a project, with an emphasis on inventory, with project teams of 2 to 15 people
  • AGILE or PRINCE2 (or equivalent) qualification
  • Knowledge of ITIL principles. Ability to implement ITIL principles.
  • Strong organisational skills in creating and maintaining project plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies
  • Highly proficient IT skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS project.
  • Experience of project level financial management and a good knowledge of transitioning inventory as required.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in efficient Change Management methods
