Job Description

Programme Director opportunity to join an international Healthcare Technology company. The Business is looking for an experienced & successful Programme Director to deliver a high priority Programme Successfully.Programme Director - 12 Month FTC- Up to £120,000 + Bens -Hybrid - London / NottinghamYou will have a proven track record of success in managing complex software and operational programmes to completion, preferably to government and / or within the health sector.You should be experienced at managing stakeholders internally and externally at all Levels. You will closely manage and drive the governance of the programme to ensure that all quality indicators and delivery milestones are achieved.Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the successful delivery of the programme through the monitoring or technical, product, operations, clinical safety, and sales streams of activity, ensuring milestones are delivered on time
  • Manage project reporting and other project documentation as part of a robust and international governance model that you will create and implement.
  • Own and maintain the programme plan, tracking each stream against estimates. Encourage responsible workstreams to deliver to plan.
  • Manage complex stakeholders, including clients, executives, and team members.
  • Identify, track and mitigate programme risks through ownership of risk registers; drive escalated actions to resolution.
  • Ensure that major deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor project timelines and milestones to ensure on time delivery as well as make adjustments and adaptations to the project pan as needed, considering changes in scope, priorities and resource availability.
  • Work with internal SMEs to establish highly productive trust-based relationships and support teams to deliver
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that software meets quality standards
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director to track spend and update programme budgets
  • Work closely with the Director of Product and Technology on managing risks and issues from across the streams of activity
Knowledge and Skills Required
  • 10+ years of experience in software programme management, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced company environment
  • Proven track record of success in delivering complex programmes on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Skilled and experienced at managing governance processes
  • Skilled and experienced at budget management
  • Experience of international corporations an advantage
  • Experience of healthcare an advantage
Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Seasoned at implementing effective yet lightweight governance structures
