Job Description

Our client operates produces radioactive medical products. They are looking for someone to support their production team in a materials control capacity. You will be responsible for preparing daily shipments in line with strict protocols.The successful candidate will prepare daily shipments, material control, of critical radioactive pharmaceuticals to ensure continuous treatment of patients suffering with cancer throughout the UK. The role and responsibilities will include but not be limitedto:

  • Preparing cases to be shipped.
  • Packing, checking and shipping radioactive medical tracer products.
  • Booking in of goods (goods receipt) and replenishing consumables.
  • Liaising with different departments and customer sites and couriers.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries.
  • Cleaning the laboratory to ensure sterility assurance program.
  • Support with administrative duties including QC (Quality Control) administrative tasks.
  • Candidate will work to cGMP standards (Good Manufacturing Practice) and will follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • The role will include some heavy lifting therefore candidates must be fit and able to perform these duties.
This role will involve working shift patterns rotating on a fortnightly basis, i.e. 03:00 to 11:00 and 07:30 to 15:30. Candidates must be able to work to precise operating policies and procedures where attention to detail is essential. Candidates will alsouse Word and Excel and should have demonstrable experience of MS Office.
