Job Description

Opportunities have arisen for a number of Production Operatives to join our manufacturing client based in Nottingham. The company is globally operating with over 24k employees in over 50 countries and develop high performance solutions to seal, dampen, andprotect products.As a Production Operative you will be responsible for assisting in the manufacture of a 24-hour continuous process of products that are used in many sectors.Benefits:

  • £10.73 / hr including shift premium, rising to £10.85 / hr after probation.
  • Shifts:
Week 1 (days)Mon - Wed, 12-hr days (6am6pm) and Thurs 6am - 12pmWeek 2 (nights)Mon - Wed 6pm6amAs a Production Operative, your responsibilities will include:
  • Interpreting manufacturing paperwork
  • Understanding customer requirements
  • Contributing and assisting in Continuous Improvement activities
  • Ensuring products are stored correctly to avoid contamination and damage
  • Maintaining a good standard of cleanliness in work area
  • Reporting all shortages, scrap, and downtime as necessary
  • Rectifying defects where possible and contribute towards problem solving
Looking for Production Operatives who have the following skills and experiences:
  • Ideally have printing industry experience.
  • Awareness of safety, health, environmental and quality issues.
  • Advantageous to hold a forklift truck licence.
  • Ability to work days and night shifts.
