We supply directly to contractors, via Architects/Specifiers and through a network of distributorsinto a broad variety of commercial, residential and public sector construction projects across the UK.This is a brand-new Product Manager role that will assist in developing a growth strategy for an emerging business unit. Your Product Manager responsibility will involve protection and growth for established products plus a review of the market designedto optimise our offering for the rapidly growing MMC (Modern Methods of Construction) and off-site manufacturing category.We have a clear industry pedigree and we are very strong technically; this new role will utilise these strengths but more importantly you will help to devise, implement and manage an insight focussed approach to this growing business unit.Requirements: Product Manager / Category Manager : Manufacturing / Construction You will have a desire to progress into product management from Marketing, Sales or Technical OR have experience of product management. Ideally from manufacturing in an industrial or construction setting but we are open to applications from other sectors. You will possess analytical marketing experience and an eye for detail. A desire to be part of developing a new function and being a strong voice in this new business unit. Motivated to challenge the norm and drive improvement, innovation, and change. Ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels in marketing, NPD, sales, technical and operations.Why this Product Manager / Category Manager role We are one of the largest manufacturers in our sector with highly respected and well-known brands and some unique products. MMC (Modern Methods of Construction) including off-site manufacturing is a huge new growth area and you will help to devise and manage the plan to establish our market share in this category.
