Job Description

Procurement Manager - IndirectsButler Ross have a fantastic opportunity for a Procurement Manager to join global wide company who specialise in retail and distribution on a 6 month fixed term contract with the view of hopefully going permanent after the initial fixed period is over. Thisis a brand new role that is vacant after the current procurement manager has been seconded to a new project.This role is 100% home based with travel to UK based suppliers, if you did want to go into office they have 12 offices evenly spread across the UK so you will more than likely be close to at least one!Duties of the Procurement Manager

  • Confidently and effectively navigating your way through a complex matrix organization.
  • Providing support during supplier screening and supplier selection processes including preparing fact-based negotiation packages to ensure a smooth and successful negotiation process.
  • Execute end-to-end sourcing projects for a range of categories.
  • Heading up both Hard and Soft FM as well as a range of other indirect categories.
  • Involve the business for actions related to supplier base optimisation, KPI implementation and follow up.
Experience Required for the Procurement Manager
  • Experience in a similar senior role within indirect procurement.
  • Excellent communication skills and supplier management skills.
  • Ideally has a strong educational background, ideally degree or CIPS or MCIPS qualified.
  • Previously worked in a matrix organization and will be able to quickly navigate a new role.
Salary: £55,000 -£60,000 Pro rata + Fully Expensed Travel
