Job Description

Role: Problem ManagerLocation: NottinghamSalary: £30,000-£32,000Concept IT are currently recruiting an IT Problem Manager, on behalf of a brilliant IT Services Provider. You will be responsible for the lifecycle management of all problems within scope of the Service Support ITIL processes. Taking ownership of the end-to-endprocess, working alongside the Major Incident Manager to prevent incidents from happening, and to minimize the impact of incidents that cannot be prevented. As part of this role, you will be asked to provide guidance and assistance to the department ensuringall problems are managed correctly in line with the ITIL Framework.Key responsibilities:

  • Enable the effective operation of the Problem Management Process and oversees the Problem Management process delivery
  • Preventing incidents from occurring
  • Minimising the impact of unavoidable incidents
  • Developing final solutions for known errors
  • Performing trend analysis of important services or historical incidents
  • The problem control process aims to handle problems in an efficient way. Problem control identifies the root cause of incidents and reports it to the Service Desk
Skills and Background:
  • At least 1 year ITIL Problem Management experience
  • Innovative thinking in terms of service quality and improvements
  • Provide regular reports in a timely manner
  • ITIL Foundation V3 certification
  • Strives to increase personal productivity
  • 1-year ITIL Problem Management experience
  • Managed Service and Support Services background would be beneficial
