BUT, thats exactly the kind of strange fish we need for this Scientific Software company who are setting up an office in our hometown of Nottingham!The company are on a crazy-growth trajectory, recently partnering with a US Giant to combine several data companies into one.The role is based in the UK but will be working for one of the businesses that is now part of the US portfolio, therefore the will be a requirement will be to work afternoon/evening hours.In terms of the role, its all of the usual standard Senior DevOps Engineer responsibilities such as developing & managing pipelines, deployments & provide technical leadership for the DevOps team.The other essential skills needed for this role include containerisation (Docker, Podman etc.) Terraform and the usual CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.Any Python, Node.JS and/or Kubernetes is a huge bonus.The role can be based from home, but as the team meet up every Wednesday in the Nottingham office youd need to be willing to travel at least once per week.As this will be working for one of their US based subsidiaries, the working hours will be a little funny at 3pm11pm (Monday- Friday), so you need to be cool with being a night owl!For more info and the details of the role/company, please apply for a guaranteed response, or give us a call!
