Nottingham University Hospitals-Western University (Canada)-Advanced IBD post CCT Clinical and research FellowshipApplications are invited for the post of IBD Fellow at Nottingham University Hospitals’ NHS Trust and Western University Canada for 24 months. This post offers the exciting opportunity to join 2 cohesive and progressive gastroenterology departments with strong clinical and academic national profile in two diverse and multicultural countries, UK and Canada. This is a unique opportunity to work in two of the most advanced healthcare systems world-wide. We are looking for a dynamic individual with an interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease who has completed their basic Gastroenterology training.The appointee will be actively involved in clinical sessions in IBD outpatients and endoscopy and supervised by IBD Clinical Lead Dr Gordon Moran at Nottingham and Prof Vipul Jairath at Western University. There will be no out-of-hours or in-patient cover commitment unless specifically requested. The remaining sessions will be used to support the fellow in any research initiatives they might have. Involvement in our IBD research program is encouraged. Fellows will be encouraged to present their work at national and international conferences and publish them in peer-reviewed journals.Nottingham University Hospitals’ NHS Trust is one of the largest tertiary NHS Trusts in the country and is a referral centre for the Mid Trent Cancer Network, which covers a population of over 2 million.
