Personal CareStart date - October 2021Full timeMy client who is based in South Nottingham are recruiting for a 1-1 teaching assistant, to work with a child who is coming into nursery in October. The child has a very rare genetic condition called ADSL, the child is nonverbal and requires personal caresupport. Pay rate - £63.51-£70 per day depending on experienceThe ideal candidate will be:* Level 3 qualified*Changing/ personal care experience* Feeding experience * Experienced supporting school pupils or young people* Knowledgeable about supporting vulnerable pupils autism * Available from January with a DBS on the update service or willing to complete one* Able to commit long term to the school and pupils for continuity* Team Teach/MAPA trained* Counselling/Psychology background a bonus* Experience of working with challenging behaviour* Nurturing and caring This position is a great opportunity to work alongside supportive and experienced teams and leadership.
