Job Description People Services Operations Manager Ref: VAC0245£40 to £50k per annum, depending on experience.Nottingham NG1 (hybrid) with occasional travel to our London CampusIt’s an exciting time to be joining Confetti Media Group.In the last three years we’ve expanded rapidly and so we’re expanding our team - seeking a dynamic and passionate HR professional to drive forward our People agenda.From leading the redesign of our performance management and appraisal processes to improving the user experience across HR systems and platforms - you’ll be at the heart of developing people - designing and implementing initiatives to develop skills andexpertise across our business.Leading a friendly and passionate team of HR professionals, your team is responsible for managing and nurturing the employee lifecycle across all Confetti Media Group divisions - promoting positive employee experiences where colleagues feel driven and empoweredto succeed.You’ll be joining an organisation that takes the development of people seriously and you’ll have the autonomy to bring your initiative and creative ideas to the table.Key Responsibilities

  • Design, drive and deliver the core People functions including recruitment, onboarding, induction, training, absence management, health and wellbeing, employee relations, contract changes, payroll, leavers and regular reporting.
  • Work closely with managers to ensure teams are managed and developed fairly, consistently and in line with legal requirements, internal policy and best practice to.
  • Lead people related projects and initiatives to improve the employee experience and support organisational developments.
  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including gross misconduct and safeguarding allegations.
  • Continually review and develop all people systems and platforms to drive efficiencies, value for money, effective collaboration and to ensure systems continue to deliver intended purpose.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience of managing people & processes within a fast paced and varied people services environment
  • Experience of managing and delivering people related projects and strategic objectives.
  • CIPD qualified, or other relevant HR/management qualification
  • Excellent understanding of current employment law and HR best practice
  • Understanding of payroll processes and procedures
  • Advanced knowledge of HRIS and experience of producing and analysing people reports and statistics.
