Job Description

Working closely with the other members of the People leadership team, you will support the development and delivery of excellent service standards across all aspects of the People function. The People Partner will contribute to a multitude of People activities with a view of driving business performance and a people centric culture.The People Partner Role

  • Effectively land and embed the Business People Pillar and Strategy within the relevant business areas through a range of tactics including the development of Divisional and Regional People Plans which incorporate, talent and succession planning, engagement, data insights and actions, and continual organisational improvement that ultimately deliver the overall Business Vision, Strategy and Purpose
  • Lead people performance across relevant business areas, including monthly and quarterly performance reviews relating to the overall business strategy, that drive a High-Performance culture
  • Lead the people employee engagement agenda across the business area
  • To provide coaching, advice, support and challenge to stakeholders to enable them to deal effectively with a range of operational people management scenarios.
  • Ensure the Organisation is continually evolving and is designed in line with organisation design principles, fit for purpose and delivers desired levels of performance
  • Continue to stay up to date with new legislative changes that impact our employees and workers both on current employment law and future industry impacts
  • Supporting all elements of the internal communications process including stakeholder briefings and associated communications
  • In partnership with the centres of excellence, develop, implement, and embed effective people development strategies to enhance capabilities and ensure robust talent management, succession and retention plans are delivered.
  • To oversee delivery of People Metrics to provide relevant management analysis of information that can be used to better inform people decisions.
  • To work collaboratively across the whole of the People team, co-creating solutions where applicable to ensure a joined up Teamship approach to People solutions
  • Who are we looking for
  • Demonstrable experience in a HR Business Partner role
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with Directors, MDs, and Senior Leadership teams
  • Commercial awareness, with the capacity to link People strategies to business performance indicators
  • Experience of employee relations, organisational design, change management, reward, talent, and performance management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR best practice and trends
  • The ability to turn data into meaningful insights for our operations, presenting forward ideas and solutions to support our growth initiatives.
  • A focus on continuous development, looking to improve both personal and professionally, regularly seeking out feedback.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects at one time.
  • The ability to work at both a strategic and operational level, and is happy to get “stuck in” when required
