Job Description

POST: Paramedic (4 x posts)PICS is the employer for this role. PICS is a local company wholly owned by GPs, specialising in community-based care, and run for the benefit of patients.ABOUT THE ROLEWe have an exciting opportunity for four enthusiastic Paramedics to join our dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to individuals who are enthusiastic about providing high quality support to primary care. Based within Nottingham West PCN, you will work closely with GP Practices and Care Homes within the primary care network.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assessing and treating patients presenting with minor or acute illnesses in their own place of residence.
  • Triage and treat patients, making any necessary referrals to other members of the primary health care team or organise admission if required.
  • Ensure clinical practice is safe and effective and remains within boundaries of competence, and to acknowledge limitations
    • KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Active and relevant professional registration with HCPC
  • Evidence of relevant CPD
