To support this promise we offer competitive salaries, pension scheme, medical and dental care including a range of additional benefits that make Specsavers a great place to work.Purpose of the roleThe Payroll Data Specialist is a key role within the Payroll Systems & Reporting team, responsible for the extraction and management of payroll data across applications.The initial role will be key in supporting the People & Payroll Programme to migrate across to SAP SuccessFactors from the existing SAGE KCS Platform. Preparing extract reports from SAGE and assisting with data transformation routines.Whilst involved in all test and cut over phases of the programme, the goal of the Payroll Data Specialist will be to drive long term efficiencies and recognise opportunities for continuously improving our data quality and accuracy. Highlighting areas for improvement to ensure a great experience for our people.Principal accountabilities

  • Prepare extract reports from SAGE to feed into the data transformation
  • Adapt and adjust SAGE reports as required when changes are made to the SAP design
  • Extract SAGE Payroll Data for all test phases of the programme and cut over
  • Support with the data integration between SAP and the work force management solutions (Kronos and MS Shifts) for M&D and Retail
  • Perform data analysis; identify data interdependencies between systems
  • Undertake data mapping. Highlight system design implications in relation to data
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to organise, audit, cleanse and maintain Payroll data in accordance with GDPR
