Parts ManagerNottingham: Commutable from: Ilkeston, Beeston, Bingham, Derby, Heanor, Hucknall£35,000 -£37,000 + Pension + Progression + Healthcare Are you a Parts Manager looking to join a nationally known company, offering an autonomous position where you will manage your own departmentThe company are looking to recruit due to their fantastic last year of business, making this a fantastic time to join. They put Engineering at the forefront of their business and offer some the best routes of progression and security having been well establishedfor over 60 years. They have been a well-established company for over 60 years and have over 50 stores nationwide, due to their excellent reputation in the industry and for their high quality service. This is a great opportunity to work for a growing business, where you will play a pivotal part in the growth and development of not only the parts team but the company itself. This would suit a Parts manager that has time served in a similar position at a manufacturing company, looking to take their career to the next level.The Role:

  • Management of the parts department, in order to meet specifications, deadlines, quality standards and financial targets.
  • You will be in charge of two teams (Telesales and Parts team) whilst providing technical support to staff and customers.
  • Liaising with suppliers and buyers to ensure parts orders are placed in time
  • Ensure stock control is maintained by monitoring inbound deliveries and outbound dispatches.
The Person:
  • Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
  • Preferred engineering background
