Job Description

Location: Nottingham (one time per month)Salary: Up to 80K base + 20K commission + 6k CarOur Client is in search of a Partner Director to join the team due to organic growth. This role, primarily field-based with occasional office presence in Stapleford, Nottingham, entails managing key channel accounts and prospects within a designated UK territory. The primary responsibilities include nurturing relationships with their largest current channel partners, keeping them informed about product updates, providing training on their portals, and aiding partners in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.Additionally, the role involves prospecting, signing up, and onboarding our clients larger partners.We are seeking candidates who:

  • Have a proven background in channel sales, particularly in selling M2M, IoT, and MBB SIM connectivity to channel partners.
  • Prioritise customer satisfaction to foster partner relationships and have a proven track record of increasing spend across a portfolio of clients.
  • Has good financial literacy.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in mobile technology applications, IT service provision, and the ability to swiftly grasp new products and technologies.
  • Is a team player and maintains attention to detail for database and system upkeep.
Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting demonstrations and training sessions.
  • Engaging with partners at their offices.
  • Providing training on products and new launches.
  • Supporting partners in identifying opportunities and offering commercial and product assistance.
  • Increasing partner spend through joint selling initiatives.
  • Participating in face-to-face meetings, webinars, conference calls, and industry events as required.
  • Updating partner and prospect databases, account plans, and forecasts accurately.
  • Collaborating with sales management to target partners with the greatest potential.
  • Prospecting for new leads within the assigned territory in collaboration with marketing.
Experience:
  • Proven track record in signing up large companies, developing account plans, and driving substantial commercial growth.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in external sales or customer-facing roles within the channel.
  • Potentially has existing relationships within the channel to call upon and drive engagement.
Skills/Aptitudes:
  • Tenacious with the ability and drive to work independently.
  • Astute and a quick learner with the ability to grasp technical concepts quickly.
  • Has good presentation skills, is methodical and good attention to detail.
