Job Description

This role as Operations Manager is a hugely important role for the business, applicants must be natural leaders, able to analyse information but enjoy having a presence on the shop floor. In return you will enjoy being part of a growing company with a greatbunch of people.Client DetailsThe client are a highly regarding business, offering an excellent opportunity for an established and experienced Operations Manager from within the FMCG industry to join the business.Description

  • Developing and implementing innovative strategies to streamline factory operations.
  • Motivating employees to continually achieve factory targets.
  • Analysing production data to identify and resolve any production issues.
  • Implement operational monitoring, reporting and achievement of agreed KPIs.
  • Identify and implement cost saving measures.
  • Ensure that compliance systems are robust, and all activities are well documented to meet internal and external audit requirements.
  • Managing quality control to establish and execute quality control processes.
  • Ensuring factory machinery and infrastructure is operating to an optimum level.
Profile
  • Proven experience in a senior managerial role within a factory in the FMCG industry.
  • Experience in production, inventory management and quality control.
  • Strong management and excellent leadership skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of manufacturing, Quality, HR, and Health & Safety.
  • Demonstrable successful track record.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Driven self-starter with good interpersonal skills .
  • Professional, persuasive, organised and pro-active.
