Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing are currently for an Operations Manager with a leading manufacturer of aggregates and building products based in the East Midlands.As Operations Manager, you will be accountable for maximising business performance across all business-critical areas which will include, but isnt limited to: Production, Health & Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Contract Management and Budget control.This Operations Manager responsibilities will include but are not limited to:-Develop a culture of continuous improvement with a high regard for safety, quality and customer service throughout-Lead all aspects of business operations with a safety first approach-Ensure all aspects of health and safety are in place-Identify areas that may benefit from additional training and support accordingly with a view to developing high performing teams as part of succession planning-Coach, lead and motivate your team -Define KPIs to achieve deliverable requirements -Support cross functional departments in achieving the KPIs and service levels required-Provide adequate reports with progress updates -Liaise regularly with customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders-Lead all business operations and champion a first-class customer service message within your teams and when liaising with third partiesElevation Engineering & Manufacturing are keen to speak with senior Operations professionals who possess the following skills and experience:-Degree / HND qualified in either Operations, Management, Engineering or Manufacturing, highly desirable-NEBOSH Qualified or equivalent-Minimum of 5 years management experience, gained whilst working in a heavy engineering; heavy industry, bulk material environment e.g., waste management; chemicals; aggregates; metals processing or related-Demonstrable experience managing multiple teams; projects at any one time -Excellent communication skills are a must, you will be confident preparing and presenting reports and be able to represent yourself and the business professionally when client facing -Commercial and analytical mindset with good problem-solving skillsElevation Engineering & Manufacturing are a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group, specialising in Senior and Leadership roles in Yorkshire and surrounding regions.
