Job Description

Nottingham City Homes are looking for an Operational Resource Planner to join their Technical services team.£20,092-£21,748 per annumBased at Harvey Road 37 hours per weekPermanent As an Operational Resource Planner at Nottingham City Homes, your key function will be to provide administration support to the Technical Services Team to aid the delivery of a comprehensive and efficient service program of cyclical works.The duties:

  • Working primarily within the EICR electrical compliance team within Technical Services, you will have a priority focus to achieve and maintain 100% electrical compliance of fixed wire testing
  • Manage staff jobs, non-appointed tasks, variations, follow up jobs, cancelled and suspended jobs, to maximum efficiency of resources to meet defined legislative requirements
  • Assisting the Electrical Compliance officer and legal services with preparation of legal documentation that may be used in court, collating evidence of missed appointments & keeping accurate records throughout the access process
  • Inputting compliance data & anniversary dates into the relevant database and ensuring certificates and documentation are filed in accordance to the relevant processes and legislative requirements
  • Building a rapport and working in conjunction with Tenant and Estate Management team to gain access to problematic properties or to arrange follow up visits
  • Administration duties including; responding to written correspondence and telephone calls, inputting data, updating and maintaining concise manual records and ensuring that daily reports are actioned whilst following the correct processes.
  • Using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint & utilising strong Excel skills to produce reports, appointment letters, and update spreadsheets for the service area.
  • Raising purchase orders ensuring all financial regulations are met
Alongside the Repairs Service Manager and Technical Services team, you will need to forward plan; ensuring all compliance anniversary dates are kept, that diaries are being utilised to their full potential and that resources are used efficiently to meetkey performance indicators.As you will be communicating directly with members of the public, it is essential you possess excellent customer service skills as well as objection handling skills as you may on occasion assist the electrical compliance officer in dealing with customercomplaints or vulnerabilities.
