Job Description

Are you a passionate on-trade sales professional who is looking for the next step in your careerThe Advocate Group are proud to be partnered with a world renowned brewery group that have some of the worlds most awarded breweries and fantastic global brands!The business, that has been established since 1680, is looking for an On-Trade Sales Manager to effectively open new doors with independent traders.If you are a tenacious, ambitious and driven sales professional with a passion for all things beer then this may be the role for you!Key ResponsibilitiesThe On-Trade Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the on-trade channel. (This includes bars & restaurants). The On-Trade Sales Manager will work closely with key accounts,as well as identify and develop new business opportunities.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market share in the on-trade channel
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Manage key accounts and build strong relationships with customers
  • Collaborate with marketing and other departments to develop and execute promotional plans
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to ensure the company stays ahead of the competition
  • Achieve sales targets and report on sales progress to management
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a sales manager in the on-trade channel
  • Strong understanding of the beverage industry - highly desirable for a background in independent/SME brewery background
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently
