Job Description

Job Title: Nursery NurseLocation: Nottingham City Job Type: Full-timeStart date - ASAP Hours - 8am -4pm We are recruiting on behalf of a Nursery setting that is a well-established and reputable childcare centre dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. They believe in fostering a love for learning through messy play,creativity, and social interaction. The team is passionate about early childhood education and committed to ensuring the well-being and development of every child in there care.We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurse as a Nursery Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the daily care and education of children aged from babies to 4 years old. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals tocreate a positive and engaging learning environment for the children.Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in accordance with the nurserys policies and procedures.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of each child.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of childrens progress and communicate effectively with parents.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere within the nursery.
Requirements:
  • Must have an Early Childhood Education or a related qualifaiction for an EYFS setting.
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or similar childcare setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood development and learning theories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explainedYou must have the legal right to work in the UK
