Our client in Sneinton, Nottingham, has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, inspirational Nursery Manager. For further information about additional benefits, please contact us.Main duties and responsibilites:To be responsible for the day to day running of the Nursery; to effectively manage the staff team and assist with recruitment of staff; to ensure that all policies and procedures of the Nursery are adhered to; to work as part of a team to deliver an ambitiousand flexible curriculum, which is driven by the childrens interests and curiosity; to have an excellent knowledge of child development in order to accurately observe and assess children.Operational responsibilities:To ensure that the Nursery conforms to, and exceeds Ofsted requirements; to ensure that the Nursery consistently meets the requirements set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage to a minimum good standard; to maintain regular staff supervisions, assessingthe performance of all staff through regular management observations.As a minimum, an NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare is required, and at least 2 years experience in a Senior Management role in an Early Years setting.
