Job Description

This NFP / Housing Association require a MI Data & Reporting Manager to lead on the delivery and development of the organisations management information strategy utilising effective change management to develop the function and meet future business needs. You will provide specialist expertise in management information, modern reporting processes and associated systems to help drive data driven change at Group level.Client DetailsNFP / Housing AssociationDescriptionThis NFP / Housing Association require a MI Data & Reporting Manager to lead on the delivery and development of the organisations management information strategy utilising effective change management to develop the function and meet future business needs. You will provide specialist expertise in management information, modern reporting processes and associated systems to help drive data driven change at Group level.Key Responsibilities:

Lead in the delivery of the Management Information strategy and associated milestones.

Lead in the implementation and development of a data warehouse and new associated reporting technologies with support from the technology services team and external specialist consultants.

Development and delivery of new reporting with MS Power BI and migration of existing reporting.

Oversee the development of processes to improve data quality and validation to ensure data accuracy across all systems and associated reports.

Build strong relationships through business partnering with key stakeholders to identify, evaluate and deliver MI and reporting needs

Develop and manage performance frameworks, reports and dashboards to provide colleagues with effective reporting and insight into their operational delivery

Work with the business to ensure benchmarking supports management information and associated reporting and targets

Ensure regulatory and best practice requirements are met in relevant reporting

Budgeting and financial management for a small team.

Lead, motivate and develop individuals and teams in a way that supports an inclusive culture and the values, behaviours and expectations of the organisation

Ensure performance measures are in place that set high standards that support improvement and innovation

Assess and manage resources appropriately including the planning, recruitment, induction and development of colleagues

Manage change within teams effectively.

Key Skills / Experience required:

Extensive experience of enterprise MI Management in a complex medium to large organisation operating in a regulated sector

Educated to Degree level in a relevant subject

Understanding developments in MI and data insights to champion the use of new tools and technologies

Extensive experience and knowledge in SQL database technologies, Advanced Excel, MS Power BI and other associated reporting tools

Experience in assimilating and translating complex data into effective management reports and business intelligence

Well-developed project management experience with experience in developing and delivering new enterprise reporting solution and business functions

Excellent communication - can translate between technical and business requirements

Strong analytical skills, able to interpret large datasets and identify trends

Excellent interpersonal, conceptual and analytical skills and be able to develop and implement pragmatic solutions to complex problems

Experience of influencing managers at all levels to adopt new ways of working

Successful track record of building and maintaining effective working relationships

Experience of managing, motivating and developing people and managers and setting high standards

Experience of successfully managing change within a team or teams
