The Mental Health Smoking Cessation Trainer will be part of the Smokefree team based at Highbury Hospital, Nottingham. The successful candidate will design and deliver Train the Trainer Very Brief Advice smoking cessation training and support staff with specialist stop smoking support as required. They will be required to work flexibly, working across multiple hospital sites and community mental health team bases and may be required to work in other parts of the Trust on an occasional basis as required. The post holder will establish working relationships with external partners and community stop smoking services and create a clear pathway for stop smoking support for community patients with serious mental illnessDue to COVID-19 a flexible approach to training may need to be adopted and use of other platforms for delivery of training may be requiredThere are two available posts:Post 1 - 37.5 hours per weekPost 2 - 18.75 hours per week
