Quality Risk and Safety Midwife – Focus on Risk (30 hrs per week) This is a great opportunity to join our established maternity governance team. As part of the team you will support the clinical teams to improve and develop our services. This post will focus on risk management although there will be opportunities to be part of the wider work of the team.This is a unique opportunity to join one of the largest acute teaching Trusts in England as a member of the senior Midwifery and Nursing team. Nottingham is a thriving, vibrant and cosmopolitan city and boasts exceptional local national and international transportation links.We have one of the largest maternity units in England with two maternity units, with level 2 NICU’s and our community midwifery services providing ante-natal and post-natal care to around a rate of 10,000 women and have around 8,900 births per year; in addition, we have recently successfully evidence achievement of all 10 Steps to Safety (NHS R).We are looking to recruit dynamic midwife to join our teamWe would be keen to facilitate the successful candidate to continue working clinically within our service.We are committed to appointing a kind, experienced, confident, energetic and highly motivated individual ideally with some experience of working in a governance role.
