Job Description

Marketing ExecutiveBilborough, Nottingham £25,000 - £30,000Our client is a forward thinking and expanding IT business based out of super offices in Bilborough. We are looking for an additional person to join the Marketing Team - ideally an individual with proven experience working within a B2B role previously.You will be responsible for devising and executing targeted marketing campaigns and nurturing strategies to both new and existing customers. The role will involve working with both traditional and digital channels, including but not limited to partner events,PR, advertising, social media, e-mail marketing and web.You’ll play a key role in connecting Marketing with the Sales function, interpreting customer requirements, leading the Marketing CRM activity and tracking ROI.You’ll report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the Marketing & Design Co-ordinator along with external agencies including a PR agency, Digital agency and Media partner. You will also have a close working relationship with internal departments,especially the Sales and Customer Success teams.Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales team to build account nurturing strategies
  • Managing marketing campaigns with Distributors, Managed Service Providers and Reseller partners
  • Assist in the localisation of external facing partner materials
  • Plan and support partner marketing events and sales days
  • Manage the social media channels
  • Work with the PR agency to assist with the management of press, thought leadership content and award submissions
  • Keeping the partner portal up to date
  • Working with content team to create partner assets
  • Maintaining the marketing function of the CRM database, tracking campaign activity and ROI
  • Managing promotional materials and tracking
  • Creating partner newsletter/update communications
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in a marketing role (B2B experience preferred)
  • Previous responsibility for devising and executing marketing campaigns (lead generation and account based marketing experience preferred)
  • Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and social media management
  • Experience with managing 3rd party agencies
  • Experience organising and managing events
  • Knowledge of Wordpress (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce (desirable but not essential)
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools (desirable but not essential)
  • Degree in marketing or other business-relevant subjects (desirable but not essential
