Job Description

Are you someone who loves to plan and organise events Do you want the chance to travel across the globe with work Do you want to be recognised and appreciated while making a positive contribution to reducing the companys carbon footprint Well, let meintroduce you to your new Marketing Events Coordinator position!Your new role Marketing Events Coordinator is joining a global manufacturing SME, based in Nottingham. You will be reporting to the Head of Marketing, and supporting the wider marketing team while working closely with vendors, stakeholders and sales teamsin areas such as the UK, USA, Middle East, Asia and the Pacific.You will be an integral part of this marketing team, as you will be responsible for utilising the largest part of the marketing budget. To plan, manage and deliver upon successful events across the globe; such as Germany, USA, Spain. Alongside arrangingvirtual events such as webinars and technical symposiums bringing various networks of people together.Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage events and webinars, aligning the budget across three core regions: US, EMEA and APAC.
  • Lead the delivery of all internal and external events, including tradeshows, conferences, webinars, Technical Symposiums, Conferences and Academies.
  • Maintain and coordinate external suppliers/technologies to support the delivery of events and webinars.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximise the promotion and delivery of high-quality events and webinars.
  • Report on the success of events and webinars, aligning acquisition and nurturing of contacts/leads through the CRM system, broader marketing, and sales campaigns/teams.
  • Monitor events and conferences worldwide relevant to the sector, ensuring the commercial objectives and maximising return on investment.
  • Working with subject matter experts, maximise the organisations speaking opportunities at tradeshows and conferences by maintaining and optimising a bank of abstracts and submitting the most relevant based on event, region, and market trends.
  • Support the department head on other projects and priorities as required, for example; Employee Branding.
  • You will be following a flexible hybrid approach, based in the Nottingham office 3 days a week, with 2 days from home. You will be expected to travel to the occasional Event in countries such as the above.
Were looking for an individual with:
  • Event Management experience (1 year minimum)
  • B2B or B2C marketing background
  • The ability to juggle and prioritise tasks and workload
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and non-verbally
  • Graphic Design or wider marketing skillset (Highly Desirable)
  • An interest in reducing carbon footprint, and renewable energy (Desireable)
