Management Accountant NG1 - with flexibility to utilise work from home 1 day a week £45k + Benefits Our client, a city centre based business with a super friendly team and lovely offices require a talented management accountant to join them on a permanent basis The role on offer is a really broad Management Accounting role and is well suited to an accountant who enjoys managing a range of responsibilities within a small team. Monthly tasks will include: - Production of Monthly Management Accounts Pack for one of our clients businesses in the group - P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and various KPIs - Production of annual Budgets and quarterly Forecasts - Intercompany reconciliations and recharges. - Balance sheets reconciliations - Rebate reporting on a weekly and monthly basis. - Production of month-end self-bills - Production of year end information for auditors - Completion of Statutory Accounts and Tax packs - Quarterly VAT return. - Support core stakeholders across the business, building strong working relationships - Support continuous improvement initiatives - Day to day management of a team of 2 This role is most suited to a qualified accountant with experience within a similar Management Accountant role. Size of business isnt important however you should be keen to work as part of a small team where there is a roll your sleeves up mentality andeach of the team support the other. Strong MS Excel (Essential), and other reporting tools such as power BI (ideal although not essential) is important along with a willingness to learn, work as a team and really get toknow our clients business.
