Job Description

Low Carbon Assessor/Part L Engineer - NottinghamRef:BM006My client is a Building Services Consultancy based who provide a multitude of services across all stages of the built environment. They are looking to Recruit a Low Carbon Assessor/Part L Engineer to join their team in Nottingham.Applicants will be responsible for undertaking planning stage Energy and Sustainability reports, as well as preparing associated reports for EPCS and DECS. Applicants will deliver reports in support of credit obligations with BREEAM/LEED/DREAM and Passivhaus.Applicants will also carry out site quality and legislative inspections.It is essential applicants have:

  • BSc in engineering or sustainability
  • A relevant Low Carbon Accreditation
  • Experience in using IES Software
  • Ability to carry out Part L compliance calculations, Energy Performance and Display Energy Certificates to Level 5 compliances.
  • Undertake calculations such as daylight assessments, Thermal Comfort Studies and heat loss and gains.
  • Have a full UK Driving license
It would be desirable if applicants possess:
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications
  • Strong organisational skills
