Are you a health and safety professional who specialises in the control of legionella bacteria Dont miss this opportunity to join a trusted name in the industry as a Legionella Risk Assessor and benefit from a competitive salary, company car and career progression opportunities.Legionella Risk Assessor£26,000 - £35,000 Dependent on Experience + up to £3,000 Signing bonus + CarEast Midlands, West Midlands & LondonFull-time, Permanent PositionExcellent Career Progression & Development OpportunitiesPlease Note: Applicants must be eligible to work in the UKOur client are experts in legionella management and one of a very select group of companies with UKAS accreditation for legionella risk assessment and City and Guilds assurance for legionella training.They are looking for a Legionella Risk Assessor who shares their values to join their team of dedicated professionals to undertake legionella risk assessments of domestic water systems and produce inspection reports and written schemes inline with:

  • ACOP L8 - Legionnaires disease. The control of legionella bacteria in water systems.
  • HSG 274 Parts 2 and 3: The control of legionella bacteria in hot, cold and other water systems.
  • BS8580-1:2019 - Water quality - Risk assessments for Legionella control - Code of practice.
  • LCA standard for the delivery of legionella risk assessment services.
Area of Operation: primarily the East and West Midlands and London.Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience and evidence working as a Legionella Risk Assessment across a mixed portfolio of properties.
  • Fluent knowledge of ACoP L8 and parts 2 and 3 of HSG274.
  • Good knowledge of wider legionella guidance, British Standards, industry standards and best practices across multiple sectors.
Working Hours:
  • 40-hour week (Monday to Friday).
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate childcare and family needs as necessary.
Benefits Package:
  • Highly Competitive salary of £26,000 to £ 35,000 per year (dependent on experience).
