We are currently seeking intervention staff for a Primary school based in the Strelley area. Whilst the school is mainstream they have a large proportion of students recieving additional support for Independent Education Plans and EHCPS with diagnosed and undiagnosed conditions such as Austism, Dylexia, Dyspraxia and ADHD. In addition many students recieve pupil premium finding to allow them to access resources in order to aid with their learning.The school provides a nurture based approach to supporting the young people, and aiming to provide them with the skills to transition into further education and training. You will join a team of support staff who are designated to work with different pupils based on their own set of skills, expoerience and relationships existing with students. The support staff coordinator at the school will delgate a timetable to you each day.Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm approximately, but you may be offered additional duties and responsibilities outside of these hours.The candidateThe ideal candidate will have an outgoing and resilient personality, and be able to work on their own initiative in regards to ensuring that health and safety procedures are met, and the welfare of the children. You will ideally have experience of working on a 1:1 basis with a variety of ability levelsWhat we can provideTeaching Personnel are education specialists with 23 years experience in the field. You will be provided with your own specialist consultant who will take care of your needs and advise you through the clearing and work process. You will have access to free safeguarding training and an online diary so you can manage your work times more efficiently.
