Job Description

Lead Analyst – Bureau Analytics A Lead Analyst opportunity has arisen within our Bureau Analytics teamto help design, deliver and support Experian’s generic Bureau products and services. The role involves shaping and delivering Experian’s generic bureau based analytical solutions such as our Delphi Scores, in addition to the mentoring and development of analysts within the team.Day to day you will:

  • Work with Bureau team management to clarify project scope and resource demands
  • Be responsible for leading and delivering a range of data analysis & model development projects
  • Ensure Experian procedures and processes are followed throughout the analytical build & delivery process.
  • Drive high performance by providing communicating clear project outlines, accountability, and expectations on standards
  • Continual re-examination and innovation of existing process, with a focus on optimisation and automation for increased speed and accuracy of work leading to a greater customer experience
  • Provide technical support and development to team members
  • Communicate and manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute and shape a positive working culture, creating opportunities for team development. highlighting examples of good work for recognition
  • Provide support internally and externally on the use and understanding of Bureau products & services
  • The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Degree or equivalent standard, with a high numeric content e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Operational Research, Economics, Physical Sciences.
  • PC literate with strong knowledge of coding languages such as Python, PySpark, SAS/WPS and/or R
  • Significant experience of statistical / analytical project work
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the scorecard development process, scoring solutions and related data analysis techniques which may be used to address client business issues.
  • An innovative and inquisitive mind, focused on identifying and solving data & analysis problems.
  • Common sense/logical approach to mathematical reasoning.
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • Excellent communication in clearly written reports and presenting technical work
  • Effective interpersonal skills used to influence internal and client stakeholders<span lang="
