Job Description

KITCHEN SHOWROOM CONSULTANT- KITCHEN REFURBISHMENT - NOTTINGHAM - PART TIME - £11 PER HOUR + BENEFITSKitchen Showroom Consultant required for our client who are the UKs leading and award-winning Kitchen makeover company. Our client specialises in renovating existing kitchens instead of replacing, typically saving customers 50% of the cost of replacement.Our client also offers the option of supplying and fitting a brand-new kitchen if the existing kitchen cannot be updatedDue to their continued growth and success, they are now recruiting for a Part Time Kitchen Showroom Consultants to work from their Nottingham branch.THE ROLEAs a Kitchen Showroom Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for customers coming to the showroom, you will be working from the Nottingham branch.Duties will include:

  • Taking phone calls from customers and suppliers
  • Following up internet and email enquiries
  • Arranging customer appointments
  • Helping customer choose colours, styles etc.
  • Carrying out general admin duties e.g., quotations, ordering, arranging trades and other admin work as required, full training will be provided
  • Checking in goods delivered, liaising between the customers, suppliers, and installation teams
  • Taking pride in and ensuring the showroom is always clean and tidy
  • Working days will be Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday one week and Wednesday to Friday the following week
  • Working as a part of a small team to ensure great customer experiences
  • You will be working from the Nottingham branh
THE PERSON
  • Ideally you should have similar experience in a role with significant customer interaction
  • Previous showroom sales experience e.g., Kitchens, Bathrooms, Bedrooms, DIY, Electrical, Home Furnishing etc. would be highly beneficial, however any retail experience would be helpful
  • MOST IMPORTANTLY someone who is friendly with a great personality, our client can teach you what you need to know.
  • The successful candidate must be able to work independently, often looking after the showroom on your own.
  • Ability to converse with customers in a friendly and hospitable manor.
  • Good at attention to detail with General IT skills, able to use email, Word, Excel and the Microsoft suite
  • Hands-on and happy to help with the day to day running of the business
  • Live within a commutable distance of Nottingham
