This role covers pre- and post-contract projects and additionally supports Sales and Estimating in bid administration. Youll play a key role in enhancing procurementprocesses, fostering a competitive supply chain, and improving contracts. • Providing functional QS and Estimating support, both pre and post contract.
• Administration of accurate and timely contract protocol to both client and supply chain.
• Collating and reviewing contract documentation.
• Administration and review of regular reporting (CVR’s etc).
• Organising and indexing project documentation.
• Quantifying technical drawings for cost plans.
• Supporting procurement to continually improve E.ONs commercial competitiveness whilst maintaining cost, quality and security of supply.
• Assisting with the validation of client team tender content.
• Identifying and reporting of risk and value-added opportunities.
• Providing technical and commercial support to the Project Team.
• Supporting on tenders and bids, from enquiry to submission.
• Evaluating bid responsiveness and contractor performance.
• Visiting client, contractor and supplier offices and sites.

What we need from you

• Educated to Degree level, or equivalent qualification, in a related subject and / or demonstrable industry experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Working knowledge of HGCRA and LDEDCA.
• Capable of reviewing engineering / technical drawings along with interpreting and quantifying BOQ/QSORs for multiple trade scopes.
• Ability to construct and deconstruct projects / proposals on a 1st principal basis aligned with NRM principles.
• The ability to proactively administer multiple projects and contracts.
• Experience of drafting ITT documentation and scope management expertise.
• Experience of leveraging procurement led opportunities.
• An understanding of construction contracts and UK legislation.
• Working knowledge of CDM, HSSE, and the Built Environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• An analytical approach with evidence-based decision influencing.
• Full UK driving license.
• Proficiency with standard PC software tools, with a willingness to learn new software.
• Familiarity with SAP (procurement stages and payment processes).

• This is a home-based role with UK wide travel.
• This role comes with a car or car allowance of £5,700.
• This is a permanent role.
