Job Description

IT Support Specialist|Nottingham|Salary £28,000|Permanent|Cherry Professionalsupports a rapidly fast-growing business with a vibrant culture and established team. They are now seeking an experiencedIT Support Specialistto join the supportive team on a permanent basis.Are you looking for a role that willoffer you a fast-paced, dynamic environment As theIT Support specialist, you will be self-motivated and driven. In this role, you will act as the first point of escalation and assist all employees whileworking through tickets on the service team.Hours of work MondayFriday, 9-5 pm inclusive of an hours lunchKey responsibilities,-To be the first point of contact for all IT issues, this will be through the internal ticketing system, with a broad range of issues and a range of timescales.-You will log and maintain the ITSM system and offer practical help and assistance via phone, email remote access or desk side.-To escalate to your IT Service Manager/Third party providers when needed.-You will onboard/ off-boarding employees as required from an IT perspective.-To manage hardware loan stock, ensuring laptops are always available when needed throughout the business.-You will ensure Anti-Virus software is maintained and up to date.Ideal candidate,-Experience working in a 2nd line IT support role.-To understand basic networking principles, including DNS & DHCP.-Experienced in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Windows 10 / 11.-Experience in ITSM systems/solutions.-Have an awareness of ITIL Foundations.-Have communication with non-technical colleagues.-Experience with a basic understanding of Cyber Security.Benefits for you,-Competitive salary.-Contributory pension with up to 6% employer contribution.-Life Assurance of 4 times basic salary on commencement of employment.-25 days Holidays plus bank holidays.-Family-focused with 8 weeks enhanced Parental Leave for new parents.-Opportunity to work from home 1 day per week.-Charity top-up scheme.-Coffee house with 200 Degrees Coffee and Bird and Blend tea.-Free offsite parking a short walk away.-Short walk to local retail park.-Regular social eventsnetball matches, spa days, team parties-Culture of internal promotion and progression.Cherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
