IT Director Remote - £75,000 - £85,000Applause IT are hiring for an IT Director to join a leading Midlands housing organisation and take responsibility for the direction of I.T strategy for the business - incorporating I.T Support, Infrastructure, Security, Software Development and CustomerService.Within the housing sector, they are at the forefront of delivering integrated services in order to improve lives and make a difference to the communities in which they work. To do this, theyre focusing on driving smart home and smart care strategies whichmakes technology a critical part of what is going to make this housing organisation successful in achieving their vision.The IT Director will be a trusted and respected leader, one who can engage and effectively influence business stakeholders and ensure that a technology strategy is put in place that ensures a cyber secure future for the organisation. Your expertise willbe key in tactical decision making within the change and improvement function and you will be at the head of technology for the group, helping to understand all operating models and business processes and how IT can be used to drive improvements.The development of a stakeholder engagement plan and definition of a technology strategy will allow the organisation to achieve its vision and support the communities it works within.The IT Director should have the following experience:
