Job Description

Internal Account ManagerGreatFind Recruitment are working on a great opportunity for a client of ours based in Nottingham, who are looking for an Internal Account Manager to join them on a permanent basis.Job Purpose

  • Identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities.
  • Achieving profitable sales through existing customers.
  • Supporting Sales Campaigns
  • Salary: £25kWorking Hours: 9am - 5.20pm (50 min lunch) Monday to FridayBenefits: 25 days holiday + 2 days at Christmas, pension schemeDuties and Responsibilities
  • Take direct and pro-active responsibility for growing business in new and existing accounts to an agreed £GP target.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with nominated key customer accounts.
  • Campaign Support to our clients sales campaign programme.
  • Promote full product range, including products/services from their suppliers.
  • Cold calling potential customers for leads.
  • Maintain proactive telephone contact with both existing and prospective customers.
  • Expand orders and upsell on all incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Provide timely and accurate sales pipeline/forecast information.
  • Demonstrate strong influencing skills, educating our customers to use their services.
  • Grow and maintain customer data on our internal system to drive sales & marketing activities.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our products, services and systems - you will be given help and training whilst you learn about our products and internal systems.
  • Maximise and promote contractual and framework agreements of which our client is a member.
  • KPIs and financial targets to be met from your own personally owned accounts/areas, working within the corporate sector.
  • There may also be some additional duties, such as account support for the other teams during peak sales periods.
  • The ideal candidateEssential
  • Experience in internal sales, account development & management
  • Experience in telesales with a strong telephone manner
  • Proven track record of hitting targets - both revenue and call volumes.
  • Experience of managing the sales process from start to finish
  • Good presentation skills - both written (grammatical) and oral.
  • Must enjoy the challenge of achieving goals and be an experienced team worker
  • Ability to work unsupervised and achieve targets and deadlines
  • Experience of using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and CRM systems
  • Desirable
  • A proven track record of successful selling into the corporate sector
  • Experience of selling IT hardware and services - but training will be given.
