Job Description

An interim Quality Manager is required on a fixed term contract for a large aerospace OEM manufacturing business. This business are a well known, house hold brand with a long history of specialist manufacturing to the highest level. Due to an internal secondment,there is an opportunity for an interim Quality professional to come in and manage the department, working under the business Head of Quality.Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Manage continued compliance to all AS9100/AS13100/NADCAP certification and other quality accreditations
  • Develop and implement best practices that emphasise defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste reduction
  • Manage all customer complaints and implement suitable corrective actions to prevent similar issues from arising
  • Collation, preparation and delivery of key quality information to ensure customer standards are achieved and areas for continuous improvement are identified and reported in accordance with company protocols.
  • Manage, supervise & monitor quality control covering all production QC activities; to manage improvement in pursuit of best practice
Morgan King are keen to speak to candidates with the following skillset:
  • AS9100 / NADCAP experience
  • Strong manufacturing background
  • Degree qualified (Preferred)
  • Competency with core quality tools and techniques including root cause analysis, FMEA/PPAP/APQP
  • Proven track record of reducing NCRs, scrap and rework rates
  • Ability to man manage and manage department resource
