Robert Walters are recruiting for an Interim Finance Manager to work with a manufacturing client based in the Nottingham for a 3-6 month contract. The company are growing rapidly within their industry and have a great working culture which makes it easyfor an individual to fit in. This individual will be working closely with Finance Team to implement a strong month-end and year-end process. Given the nature of this role, it will require the person to be on site 5 days a week.This position will collaborate with all Finance functions, as well as other areas in the business, to supporting the BAU reporting teams to manage processes and timetable for key reporting cycles. They will support the Head of Finance in delivering effectivecost management and control. You will be required to support with monthly and quarterly forecast as well as the annual budgeting process.Key Responsibilities:* The Finance Manager will work closely with the Head of Finance/ Financial Controller and understand current gap in systems and processes* Not only will you be required to assist with the month end process, the role will enable you to assess and improve on the month end reporting process/ timetable, and implement robust and rigorous month end and year end procedures * Documenting and improve best practice standards for finance controls, and establish a monthly/ quarterly/ annual finance review practice to include balance sheet reconciliations* Assist in the preparation of the year end reporting along with liaising with the external auditors* Manage the finance team effectively to deliver timely and accurate information for statutory and audit purposes, this will include leading the team responsible for statutory reporting, VAT and HMRC processes* Responsible for compiling and modelling the annual budget and forecastingAt the Robert Walters Group, we endeavour to contact all candidates to register their details.
