Job Description

Were seeking a dynamic Integration Architect to join our clients IT & Digital Department.This hybrid role, based in Nottingham City Centre, offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact while enjoying a competitive salary ranging from £65,279 to £82,382 and a market-leading benefits package.Your Role: Integration Architect / OwnerAs the Integration Architect, youll be at the forefront of managing integration strategies across multiple applications, collaborating closely with partners to make informed decisions about APIs, Event Management Systems, Network Integration, and Security.Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the technical owner for the API layer, ensuring partner solutions align with business requirements.
  • Leading within a multi-team DevOps environment, owning the design and structure of integration layers.
  • Developing and maintaining integration strategies aligned with E.ON and industry best practices.
  • Collaborating with partners, architects, and stakeholders to design, develop, and implement solutions using Mulesoft and Azure API Manager.
  • Establishing and maintaining best practices and standards for integration architecture and design.
  • Providing technical leadership, guidance, and troubleshooting support.
  • Staying abreast of the latest trends and technologies, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
What We Need From You:
  • Strong background in integration platforms.
  • Experience in DevOps & Agile environments.
  • Hands-on experience in designing and delivering APIs.
  • Technical leadership and communication skills.
  • Cloud Platforms experience (AWS, Azure).
  • Mulesoft proficiency.
  • Understanding of API security.
  • Technical understanding of Network Integration (e.g., VPNs).
  • Experience with Event Management Systems (e.g., Kafka).
  • Multi-partner/vendor environment experience, including offshore teams.
