Job Description

Installation Manager / Appointed Person - Modular, Salary: £42.5k + van or car allowance, 25 Days Annual Leave + BH, Yearly Bonus, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). Regional role covering sites across the East Midlands and North East (candidateto be based on patch)We have an exciting opportunity for an Installation Manager / Appointed Person to work for an industry leading modular building / portable accommodation company. Applicants will need to have supervisor / management experience and a relevant appointed personqualification with mobile crane / lifting operations experience.The Installation Manager / Appointed Person role:

  • Project manage modular cabin installations at site for clients as a complete package from delivery to handover:
  • Manage sub-contractors onsite to ensure all work is to company standards and comply with H & S standards.
  • Site specific method statements, risk assessments and lifting plans ensuring best practices are fully HSE compliant.
  • Customer Facing - Ensure Client has a full understanding of installation process and timetable with regular updates through program submission
  • Liaise with internal hire desk and planning teams to ensure all subcontract trades and equipment supply are programmed and procured in line with your programmed dates and handover.
Candidate requirements:
  • Experience of working in a similar role i.e Installations Manager, Appointed Person, Site inspector, Crane Supervisor / Crane Operator, Lift Supervisor, Slinger Signaller.
  • Supervisor / Management experience.
  • Experience of writing Method Statements, risk assessments and lift plans that are fully HSE compliant.
  • Experience and an understanding of mobile crane armed vehicle / mobile cranes.
  • CSCS Gold or Black card, Appointed Person qualification, SMSTS
