This role will be 80-90% site based. If we need you in the office in Yorkshire that would likely only be for inhouse training (coordinated by our own training manager on products or regulations) & meetings.Because this is installation (light tray & plastic conduit) & not a reactive breakdown / maintenance role, we wont expect you to go out daily at the drop of a toolbox.Well try & give you 2 weeks notice so you know where & when. Installation jobs are usually as part of a 2 man team anyway & will last 2-4 days - depending on the size of the install. Our largest install project was 4 weeks (Monday-Friday only).Our Electrical Installation Engineers work 07:30-15:30 & are paid door to door. You are then @ overtime rates (1.5) over your standard 8 hour day. Some of our Electricians love overtime, some cant due to family commitments. Well try & accommodate you.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Installation Engineer / Electrican· Work closely with the project coordinator & a project engineer on specific installation projects to install in-home-battery storage units, Solar PV & Electric Vehicle Charge points · This could be domestic home projects i.e. flats or commercial sites such as multi-story carparks at train stations or hospitalsPERSON SPECIFICATION: Installation Engineer / ElectricanTo legally do this role you must have the following:· Apprentice trained / AM2 · Hold BS: 7671 wiring regulations · Level 3 NVQ qualification in electrical installation · Knowledge of Part P · Hold a valid ECS Gold card / CSCS · Hold a full UK driving licenseThe following would also greatly benefit your application:· Inspection & Testing 2391, 2394, 2395 or 2396 · Specific qualifications related to Electric Vehicle Charging, battery storage systems or Solar photovoltaics (PV) · Recognised supervisory qualificationsTHE COMPANY:Based in Yorkshire - We are one of the fastest growing Renewable Energy companies in the UK.We have multiple installation, service & maintenance contracts for commercial & domestic Solar PV (photovoltaics), Battery Storage Systems & Electric Vehicle Charge points across the UK.Our commercial contracts include the NHS & Network Rail.Our permanent headcount has increased by over 50% in the last 2 years & we want to keep growing.It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets and worked with the following products and/or services: Electrician, Electrical Engineer, Installation Engineer, renewable energy, solar PV, photovoltaics, electric vehicle, vehicle charging points.INTERESTED Please click apply.
