Job Description

Ref: 14200Role: Innovation Lead - EnergyLocation: Hybrid working - NottinghamSalary: £70,000 + 10% bonusSummary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Innovation lead with a background in the energy industry to lead a newly created cross-functional team of developers working on supporting bids for innovation project, supporting and evolving existing SaaS platforms as well as building new software, APIs or general analytics for the energy industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering innovative solutions and experience with agile methodologies.   • Manage and motivate a cross-functional team of developers to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Implement and maintain agile methodologies and practices throughout the team
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify new opportunities and continuously improve processes
  • Provide regular progress reports and presentations to senior management
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and differentiation
Skills and experience required:
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy industry
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Proven experience with agile methodologies and practices
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
