Job Description

CTA are recruiting for an experienced Infrastructure and Security Architect within Cyber and Information Security across AWS platforms. You will be working within a fantastic team to bring external knowledge in-house, reducing the need for outsourcing.This role is HYBRID working with flexability.You will work alongside a variety of departments covering infrastructure and security architecture, enterprise solutions and delivery of successful products in the global domain.You will get involved in:

  • Working with the teams in the secure development process at early stages to ensure security by design.
  • Oversee cloud infrastructure design and develop detailed architecture design for the application
  • Plan for system and application migration(s) to the cloud
  • Support DevOps team with CICD automation.
  • Support application development teams in negotiating governance, privacy gates, compliance and risk analysis.
  • Communicate current and emerging security threats with the development teams to guide the development process.
  • Work with the Solution Architects and Applicating Architects to design security architecture that proactively mitigates threats before or as they emerge.
  • Plan, research and design robust security architectures.
  • Support vulnerability testing, risk analyses and security assessments.
  • Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and security requirements.
  • Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements.
  • Regularly communicate vital information, security needs and priorities to upper management
  • Interpret technical issues for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
Technology stack and experience will include:
  • AWS Security
  • Python & NodeJS Javascript Runtime Environment
  • AT-Rest and inhouse Security Measures
  • HTTP & REST API
  • SAML, OIDC & Auth2
  • Continuous Security, CI/CD techniques
  • Web application security (e.g. OWASP)
  • Infra code tools (Hashicorp, Terraform & Ansible
  • Security standards and regulations (ISO, GDPR)
