Job Description

Job Title: IFA Administrator Salary: £21,000 - £27,000Location: Nottingham This position is with an expanding, national financial planning practice that have several offices across the UK and are continuing to grow with successful acquisitions and a strong reputation within the industry.They place an emphasis on client care and providing a tailored solutions. They have broad offering for clients, providing advice across a range of cases including Pensions, Investments, Protection, IHT, Tax & employee benefits along with some corporate financialplanning. They have long standing relationships with a great deal of their clients and have an excellent client retention rate to go with this.The RoleHowever, due to continued expansion, they are now looking to bring an experienced Administrator into their Nottingham office to support the increased business levels from the Financial Advisers. There is a paraplanning team that you will be working closelywith and they have a collaborative, positive working culture.Ideally they are looking for candidates with a background within an IFA / Financial Planning firm and with strong administrative skills to cover tasks such as; producing valuations, processing new business, liasing with providers and creating meeting packs.Ideally, you would enjoy a fast-paced environment and work well within a team based environment, as well as having strong interpersonal skills.The Required Skills:

  • R01, CF1 or equivalent is desirable
  • Experience in providing administrative support within a Wealth Management or Financial Planning firm
  • Experience of using Intelliflo would be advantageous
  • A professional and personable communicator who is comfortable dealing with clients
  • Strong attention to detail and a good level of numerical skills
  • Good understanding of the FCA and how a Financial services firm operates
