Venn Group is currently recruiting for a HR Services Team Leader for a Public Sector Organisation based in Nottingham. This is a permanent contract, offering a salary of between £26k-£30k dependent on experience.This is a full time role working onsite 4 days per week.The purpose of this job is as follows:To lead and deliver an outstanding shared service operation delivering on all aspects of HR admin and employee lifecycle work.The HR Services Team Leader will drive team performance in delivering exceptional customer service to all customers and stakeholders, always striving to be the best and setting the benchmark for others to followDuties:- To contribute to the strategic direction and operational effectiveness of the organisation- Lead the HR Services Assistants in providing a comprehensive HR administration service, dealing with general HR enquiries face to face, by email or telephone- Manage monthly payroll handover, ensuring all information is sent for processing, including paylink processing and sickness absence reporting for pay purposes- Manage complex HR queries that have been escalated and support HR Services Assistants in finding resolutions- Line manage HR Services Assistants, providing support and coaching in a particular area of focus e.g. recruitment, conducting regular PDR’s and identifying necessary training and development- To provide reports and analysis as and when required from the HR/Payroll System- Provide administrative support to the wider HR Services Team, including project work and ad hoc pieces of work as directed by the HR Services Manager, Head of People Services, Recruitment Manager and Business Partnering team- Liaise with the College payroll service to ensure that new starters, leavers and amendments to contracts are processed accurately and timelyTo apply for this role or to find out about other HR jobs, please contact either Philip Mylona, Eliza O’Reilly or Thomas Brown on the Midlands HR Recruitment team on orVenn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
