Job Description

I am working with an Education Trust for the recruitment of a HR Officer. This is a full time and permanent role, and will cover a full generalist remit. You will be involved in ER related matters, particularly relating to sickness absence, end to end recruitment,disciplinary and grievance meetings and other HR related tasks.Client DetailsEstablished in 2011, the trust has grown to become a successful group of 26 academies serving a wide range of communities across South Yorkshire and the East Midlands.DescriptionThe successful HR Officer will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
  • Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Creating and implementing effective onboarding plans
  • Developing training and development programmes
  • Assisting in performance management processes
  • Supporting the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Maintaining employee records according to policy and legal requirements
  • Reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
ProfileThe successful HR Officer should have:
  • CIPD Level 3 as a minimum
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
Job OfferFull time and permanent role + Sheffield based but will be based remotely the majority of the time with occasional travel to schools + Paying up to £31,500 + 26 days AL plus bank holidays
